I'm sorry but is it a misprint or is the second payment for 5 months if yes then wtf lol first time I've seen this I've seen 1 month 3 months 6 months n a full year but 5 months really lol

Was just at a SDM and it seems as though Vanilla has changed the look if their cards. It still is silver and has a pic of a gift on it but doesn't say vanilla on it anymore. Is that the correct card...

I think it is ? I got one recently at Walmart and it was a Visa- Vanilla Pre-Paid Card. I know this one works! Hope this helps Maximum.- Fishmaster.

That plan is not a typo. We adjusted the pricing to work better with the fixed value of the prepaid cards we accept.

Somewhere on the packaging, most likely bottom right or left it would say vanillia and show the symbol. Its also on the card itself, i believe top left corner.

The SDM employee said that they recently changed all the cards. Anyways I grabbed a batch of the silver packaged MC's with an image of a gift on the front and 9182 accepted it as payment.

Those cards are called "the perfect gift" . If it doesn't say vanilla on the package it's not the right card.

Beware packaging of the cards is very similar

Just went thru this last night at SDM, the packages look very similar, both have a picture of a wrapped present with ribbon...but they are not Vanilla Prepaid, asked at the counter for a Vanilla the girl grabbed a package and scanned it, I handed over cash then found out its not vanilla, argued with the supervisor for 30 minutes trying to get a refund.

Petro Canada and Shell gas stations and Walmart sell the vanilla cards both visa and mastercard and you can check the balance at vanillaprepaid.com (vist that site to see all the images of the vanilla packaging)

if for some reason you end up with the wrong card simply go to a store that does sell vanilla's like petro or shell and use the other non vanilla card to purchase the proper vanilla (you have to pay another activation fee, but thats the cost of not making sure it was a vanilla card in the first place)

you should set up a separate email you use for this online type of stuff anyway if worried

if you ever lose your code this is how we can look it up via your email address

put in a fake email if you like but if you ever lose your code we wont be able to look it up to help
