For the record:in the MILLION years Iv'e endured the Cherry/MacLean monologue, I think Iv'e only agreed with him twice.That was the second time.It's not so much what he said, but the fact that we can't say boo out loud.What has Canada become?I don't mean this to be a racist supportive or political thread:it's just about reasonable freedom of speech.
I grew up listening to the man, I did not always agree with what he said, but he does a lot to support the troops, taught a lot of kids about the game of hockey, it seems he started to stumble his words in the last few years but the man is 85, I will miss him just kind of sucked he got canned on remembrance day of all days...
Thing is Who will they get to Replace such a Iconic Figure

Rogers spent 5.4 Billion on The NHL rights and at one time were giving out free ad space to companies when ratings were lower than then before. They poured alot of money and now couldn't wait to get rid of Cherry's contract.
As for Maclean, he owes Don big time for his job and the salary he currently has. Yes,Mclean threw him under the bus. Lost all respect for him.
