Jynxbox Ultra HD V2 No Sound With My TV

Hi, i have jynxbox ultra hd v2 i think its original i am not sure, the problem is there is no sound at all the image work perfectly but not the sound i dont know why i tried on another tv and the sound is working very well but on the big tv LG Oled 55 inch the sound its not working at all since almost 2 weeks before it worked really great but the jynxbox had been off for a month because I was on vacation and since my return I turn the jynxbox on and the sound does not work now i really tried everything on setting sound on my tv and i find nothing. can anyone know how come the sound dosent work now.

try a dif hdmi cable

i tried 3 defferent hdmi cable and its not working its really driving me crazy do you think if change the firmware or loader or anything will work?

Could your LG Oled 55 inch may have reset something in sound settings (sound input/output settings) ??

i dont think so and all the hdmi port work perfectly even the iptv box is working vert well with image and sound but its strange last year i had the same problem with my LG Oled TV and when i changed the hdmi port it worked but this time nothing is workingand yet i changed in all hdmi port + 3 different hdmi cable and i still got no sound this little problem is very weird i dont know how come the sound works great in my another Samsung 4K TV 40 inch and not on my LG Oled 4K TV 55 inch

hdmi port on tv is fubared

you mean damaged? cause if its damaged then how come on the same port of jynxbox when i plug my ps4 or nintendo switch or iptv box with the same hdmi cable that i use the jynxbox its working without any problem with sound and image?

The HDMI Port on the LG Oled is probably damaged (fubared) Like dishuser said
being that it works on everything else you mentioned, Does the jynxbox & LG Oled have Component hookup
if so try it that way instead to see if it works ??

i tried the component video cable and the sound is working but the quality is very disgusting even the quality of iptv is way better i really want to watch in HD quality with hdmi cable on satellite but i cant it's really disappointing cause the problem is more on jynxbox that is the only thing that the sound it doesn't work i tested all the hdmi port on tv one by one they all work with sound no matter what I plug except the jynxbox and its only been only a year and a half that i have my tv LG Oled 55 inch do you guys think the little problem can be fixed and the sound could work again with HD quality?

Does the LG Oled have a Optical out hookup, if so run a optical out to sound bar
and keep the HDMI Feed for Video and sound out optical, if that works for you ??
or try a different Sat box if available

Yes you do, left of LAN port, if you use that for audio you will need to set it on your TV for that (audio settings TV)

so if i buy the toslink optical audio cable on amazon and connect with jynxbox the audio will work?

that's composite not component hence the low quality picture

you will need a sound bar/or speakers for the toslink to hook to for the sound
you can buy the toslink anywhere you can get it, the amazon link was just example
This is how mine is hooked up, since most "NEW" TV'S have lousy or no speakers at all

I guess I have no choice to get the speakers or sound bar to make the sound work again on my LG Oled

Soundbar is the Best way to Go, since your HDMI port for sound maybe Hooped or a different TV
You have to get sound from Jynxbox "TO TV" first, how you output the sound from TV can been done by
the different hookups you have (audio-out). The other way would be to hook like a dvd recorder in between
Jynxbox to Recorder out to TV or some kind of video/sound switch hub, something like this:

HAVE to find which one is the problem first J-BOX OR LG, Try hooking the J-BOX to another TV with HDMI
ONCE you know which one is the problem, then proceed from there on "HOW" TO make it work.
I don't have a J-box, have a SV8000, just offering suggestions on what May Work

toslink won't work if the TV isn't getting the digital audio through the HDMI

the problem is the jynxbox when i connect the jynxbox to another tv the sound work great except my LG TV i dont know why a month and a half ago the sound was working great but now its not

the sound has to come from the jynxbox

so if your jynxbox has an optical out connector then you could use a toslink cable to connect the jynxbox to a soundbar

Were you able to figure this out. Lol, My friend has this exact same issue with his 65 inch LG Oled.

Try a different HDMI cable, this thread is 4 yrs old.
