The Noof retires !

As of July 1st 2020, the Noof has officially retired his full-time auto repair business.I have sold the property, but kept the "Tune-Rite Auto Service" brand, at least for now.I have nothing but gratitude for all the people that got us here.Time to take a hiatus from the daily tasks,& take more time to smell the roses.64 years old,48 years in the trade & I have few regrets.
I have rarely shared my personal life, good or bad, in any public forum.Never understood the purpose I guess.In this case, I consider this group of people as friends, & thought I would express my happiness to you.

In joy the new life.....I had a friend he retired at 65 and his father was still alive he was 90

They both got to enjoy retirement for 7 more years when his father passed.

But your still young.....its time to stop and smell the roses

Congratulations Noof. I retired @ 62 now I'm 65 and finally got Medicare. The wife is officially done this September however has been home since April due to the Wu Flu. You can tell those who are retired by how well there yard is maintained. You will enjoy your new found freedom? or job? Enjoy :party:

It seems to me that much of this membership is in the "60 plus" club.lol
Thanks to all for the kind words & well-wishes.My younger brother & I are setting up a neat little shop in his garage to make beer money.I just want to get up one Tuesday morning,look out the window & wonder what I'm going to do that day.lol
I can't EVER remember doing that.Been hitting it HARD for 48 years.

Wish I could have done it sooner, but my brother is 5 years younger my 50/50 business partner.I had to get hi as close to 60 as possible before I pulled the trigger.Otherwise, I would have been done 4 years ago.
