This is how I fixed my C-Band-KU-Band LNBF from 5g network that was killing some TPs on some satellites.
The idea is to extend the outer scalar by 1 inch so the 5g signal can't get into the feed horn, I used a strip of home flashing, I cut it to 1&1/2 inch wide 28 inch long to go around the outer scalar ring, a long hose clamp to hold it in place.
Is the strip of home flashing Aluminum ? thanks for the reply...

I made mine out of aluminum flashing.

I've been having alot of interference lately. Had an old c band scaler ring laying around so installed it on the exposed portion of the lnbf. Did not help.
It's best to try a new "C" band LNB, one with a 5G filter built in.
Do you know where the 5G towers are at your location?? If directly out in front of your dish and very close (within several miles) then there may not be much you can do.
Was going to wait for the blue filter but might install a red one when the weather warms up some as a stop-gap.
I'm trying to locate a good resource for 5g locations what do you use ?

I looked up several websites including the one you posted and they all give conflicting information.
However, the closest tower to me is just over 500m away and if that has a recent 5g transmitter installed it would likely be significant.
I read there are basically three types of 5g, the farthest reaching (2-4 miles) is the slowest. Do all three types cause the same type and level of interference or does the strength of the signal play the biggest part ?
It depends on where the tower is located in relation to your dish, out in front is the worst, 30 degrees off to the side, 90 degrees off to the side or further, or at the back side.
But at 500 meters that's close in, you could even get direct signal intrusion into the coax or directly into the receiver it's self. The only way to reduce this possible problem could be done several ways, one is better shielded coax, a double shielded coax would help, also if the coax was grounded to Earth ground and not a house ground, the second way is putting the coax inside a metal conduit, or all of the above and bury the coax/conduit at least 16 to 24 inches.
But again at 500 meters there may be nothing you can do, the signals from the tower hitting the dish are far stronger (depending on the towers location) then the signals from the satellite, an LNB with an in-line filter may or may not help.
Well I didn't tell you about my lnbf. It's a Titanium PLL dual. As far back as I can remember (well before 5g was a thing) I had "interference" on some transponders at some times. Took me a long time to figure out that when the 2nd lnb was powered there was a huge decrease, most times eliminated, in this interference.
I sent Brian an email about it and he said the lnb's are independent so it's not the lnb. And since this trick doesn't have the same impact anymore I was concerned 5g was the culprit.
But now you have me thinking that my current problems could be the logical progression of whatever issue I was originally having, maybe cabling or even a defective or slowly deteriorating lnb.
Won't be able to check the dish side any time soon unfortunately.
