My buddy's XPL3000 just had this pop up 'software caused connection to abort'
Now he cant connect to OK2 at all. I had him do a factory reset and still wont connect. Maybe try a hard reset? I assume its an issue with the buzz app in his box?

He has an XPL3000 and is running OK2. I asked him if he used Youtube or any other apps and he said he tried once when he first got the box over a year ago but hasn't since. It maybe some other app that's causing his box to drop connection?
wired or wireless?
Tried both ways.....also turning one off when trying the other.
you sure he is using the buzz software?
I did talk to the dev who told me that is not a message in their software
He uses the 'livetv' from the main page to connect. If it is some other app thats causing this, Ill walk him through a hard reset.
dhcp. The clock is correct so I know he is getting an internet connection for sure.
Not sure if I want to walk this guy through that on the phone in case something goes wrong. Good buddy of mine but not very technical. Im surprised he can change channels without a problem....lol...Not that bad but......
I walked him through a hard reset and still the same. Wierd thing is I was going to try a different service for him with user/pass but none of the servers have 'streaming line' Only show 'user credentials' Is the box stuck on an old version? Tried to update but said 'no updates available'
We did that but why doesnt 'streaming line' show up? I looked at my box and if I uncheck 'streaming line', even with user credentials checked and entered, it comes up sub expired. Recheck the streaming line box and it connects on my end. Isnt he supposed to have that above user credentials. I assume your box has it also but his doesnt.
Well, the funny thing is, he wrote the message down off the screen so he wouldn't forget.....lol.
I call him tomorrow and ask him what version he has and get back to ya with it.....Wife is watching Bell so cant check mine at the moment....She is in a good mood right now, gonna keep it that way......lol
His version is 2.0 (247) 02 14 2......
Thats what we got when he did the factory reset. When we check updates, it says no updates available. Tried to go to Aptoide, said no internet connection but then let him update to new version of aptoide. Trying to connect to OK2, it says cannot connect to server.
I thought there was a way to force the buzztv2 update on aptoide?
Well, I went to Aptoide and went to search. The keyboard comes up but wont let me type anything in. After putting the cursor on 'b' and hit OK, the keyboard disappears. Happens on mine as well as my friends........
I used my air mouse keyboard on my box and buzztv 2 doesnt show up anywhere, even after hitting 'more'
Yeah, now it can only update through the buzz app and his box tells him no updates available.......
the version on aptoide is not there It was posted for users stuck on 1.6
Ill see if i can find out if maybe the update server is off
That would be great.....
buzz2 is available on filelinked if you use it
Never heard of it. I googled it and is it some app I can install on the box?
Will I find it through aptoide on the buzz box?
ahhhh, ok. Ill get the file and see how it goes.....Is it an update or a clean install of a newer version?
Found it but it says: App not installed The package appears to be corrupt....I tried twice to make sure.
I have the box with me now. I did get it to connect but had to hit 'connect' a few times as it kept saying 'cannot get a response from server' Once I backed out of the server section, it would connect.
Any other way to get this box up to date?
All good now, thank you
Having the same issues here, would it be possible to get a copy of that file? Thanks
