The all new Kodi Box 11,ooo................
It's an mx 10. Just checked on 1080p and it works fine.
Dose your TV support the correct HDR signal from the box?? Check this out....Code:https://www.wired.com/story/hdr-too-dark-how-to-fix-it/
No VPN nope.
It isn't too dark on 4k stuff on YouTube. Does that mean it's not the tv.
4K at 60 Hz, check your settings, if not right things can display funny or not at all.(set to 4K 30 HZ)
Can you post your settings for the box?
You might also need to upgrade your HDMI cable to a category 3, they can handle the 4K 60 Hz signal better then a standard category 1.
HDMI cable types......Code:https://www.tripplite.com/products/hdmi-cable-types
OK but what type of HDMI cable, that can affect things, a standard HDMI cable may not be able to handle the higher bit rate of the 4K 60 Hz signal. Check out the differant HDMI cable types in the link I posted.
I'll check it out. It's the best quality HDMI I have. I'll try some different ones.
Sorry, I didn't mean all the same, I meant same result.
Same result? With the correct cable?...Then something may be wrong in a setting somewhere, or the box it's self.
It must be the box. I checked settings on friends box, same as mine. Did move my setting to 60 with no change. I had a high quality cable on my dream link, tried it, no luck.
I now have 2 boxes that won't play 4k on Kodi bright enough to watch.Bought a new pendoo, same issue. Now have one that works fine on 4k, 2 that don't. Any input would be appreciated. Actually they will play 4k on YouTube perfectly.
