nobody can say or tell exactly what is the issue until or unless you tell them what you have done to troubleshoot.
how was the weather? did wind move your dish? any construction around house damaged dish? any power outage issue? have you ran a line straight from your dish to you box?
more info is better to get you help :)
Thanks the weather is bad today but i should get a little signal i have 2 cables comming from the dual lnb so i switched wires and still no signal and the dish has never moved thxs.
8psk....take out the hd module & try it without .You won't get 82 but you should get 91.
thxs i just got my sonicview out and not getting a signal on it either so it has to be the lnb but its dam cold out there gotta watch my BILLS play at 1 pm
Hook-up Directly (no switches etc.) one cable to 91 straight to T5 & see if you get signal, if no
signal, then I would say either your LNB or cable is Bad/Failing.
Thanks guys after the game going to try to get outside and change the lnb thanks very much
Are you running through a switch? it doesn't necessarily have to be LNB. Could be the switch try running a line bypassing the switch this will let you know if it's LNB for sure
After over a hour changeing the LNB there still is no signal the dish has never moved i'm so confused its so cold out there .
Yes i'm sure i have a magic marker on all the positions on the dish when your 78 my dish is my life thanks
What about running a new coax from the receiver directly to the LNB?
Its a bell DPP lnb runs directly to receiver thanks guys
Ok now I understand that particular LNB has a built in switch.
legacy setup is the way I have it as well, it is easier to do for me anyways, FTA boxes are used to 13v & 18v switching
and most don't have the power to support all the Newer stuff/equipment etc. to make them run right.
Thanks for all your replies they were great as usual i got a guy in last nite and changed a few wires and ends and got it running great but a hour ago i lost my signal again are we up and running good on 91/82 thanks

Are you getting any messages on TV Like no signal or bad signal etc. ? or did you lose the Signal Totally.
Its bad or no signaL THXS
have you changed out the power adapter that came with the T5 ? You need one that has more power like 12v 3.5-5amp
for the T5 to run right, and the DPP LNB's are power Hungry
Thanks i replaced it a couple years ago do you think its bad if it powers the reciever up thxs
what are the Specs on it, if it is under 3amps output it doesn't have enough power for your setup
Do you have a spare one you can try, that way you will know if it's the Power adapter or not.
Also how long are your cable runs ? longer cable runs Draw more power, Most of the issues with the FTA Receivers
these days, with all this power hungry Equipment are power issues, The receiver can't supply enough power to
all the stuff you are using.
You should also have COOLING MEASURES (Fans) in-place, that is a "MUST" To keep things cool inside the box
and for the Cheap components (caps, HD Module, etc.) that are installed so they don't "Over-Heat"
AUGGIE that was it went to the source and got a new adapter and i got my signal back THANKS BUDDY .
