When pressing the Home button on the box should it bring up the similar screen as on the Buzz5 operating system?
They are one and the same. Pressing home screen in buzz 5 takes you to the buzz 6 home screen
I have the L1 Linux and it does not go to the Home screen when I press the home button.
Were there preloaded Apps in the updates. I was looking for Google Play to download some apps. I would like to load a VPN but there isn`t any app to do so.
This is a Linux box. Not an android box.
There is NO app store.. It's integrated IPTV app only.

Thank you for all the information. Will have to config the VPN. The Ver I have is V1.0.167
1.0.67 is the latest public version for the L1, which was released about a month ago.
BTW: There is a known bug with the VPN UI. Once you configure anything in the VPN screens, before connecting or assuming something is not there, reboot the box quickly (only takes 10 seconds or so anyhow), and then go back in. There seems to be a refreshing issue with the UI. They are aware of it, and will be fixed probably in a update really soon, along with a few other little improvements.
Do I use my own VPN I pay for or is there one in the program for the Box
Thanks for the information
Anyone else having a problem getting a VPN running on A1 6
VPN working fine here with Windscribe on the L1.
FYI, the latest update which was released last week also fixes some of the UI issues. So now it works quite well.
PS: Keep in mind that on some providers (like Windscribe), when you create an OPENVPN config file, it also generates a new username/password for you (often a button on the page to reveal it). Username/password is not always the same as the username/password you would use to log into the windows/android client.

Each provider will be slightly different.
Have not been able to get mine loaded and running
All like DU said.
BTW: I did have an issue with a few USB sticks. When you go to select the config file from the dropdown, it should bring up the USB stick so you can select it before seeing the files. I use a pile of different sticks and I did have 2 of my dozen or so sticks that were not recognized. I did not check to see the reason it was not (filesystem type, etc..). So if you do not see your USB stick device, try a different usb stick.
