Which GPS you like better ? Garmin or Tom Tom ?
I like Tom Tom because I find it easier to use, plus it is usually cheaper with more functions. The simulation is easier to use on the Tom Tom.

I have both and I prefer Garmin it recognized my phone through blue tooth easier both do the job though

Had a Tom Tom and would not have another. Got a Garmin and love it.
Just got a garmin last week i really like it ,should have gotten one a long time ago .

I've got 2. One is older model 350 and still works fine. New one is 1490T and is a 5". All the bells and whistles and pairs up with your cell. Trafic is also included. Tiger Direct has them on for $149 Can. refurbs. Nice thing is you can find the new maps out there and easy in put in your GPSQuote:

I have both and will agree garmin maps are more expensive. I find the tom tom is fine if you just do city driving but compared to the garmin in rural areas it really sucks !!!! Over all if I was just going to have one it would definately be the garmin. Oh and magellan, forget about it !!!! you are way better off with a map and compass than one of those pieces of garbage, jmho!!!!

A word of advice....pay the extra and get a model with the lifetime map update capability. You'll save a small fortune in the end.

Ive got google navi on my android and I love it hands down over the other two, Ive had ad luck with the other ones
although I haven't owned a Tom Tom, I love my Garmin! The bluetooth feature on the model I have is awesome!
I got a 255w garmin. about 4 years old i updated the maps to 2011 thanks to a special site it was free. it was easy to update but when i went to edmonton it doesnt show me what lane to be on which really sucks. now maybe it is justin the usa but a friend of mine has a tom tom and in the usa it shows and tells them what lanes to be if u want to turn i think my next one will be a tom tom
