IMO the SV8000HD is "still" One of the best FTA receivers ever MADE
if you have Two that are ailing, they are worth repairing, better than new.
There was a fellow on Ebay that offered repairs for them, not sure if he is still around ??
He does GOOD work, and fast turn-around.

I just bought a dreamlink t5 and my jyxnbox is similar if not better when i go from a sd channel to hd channel on dreamlink i have to go into sat dish settings and back out to get signal to come in and visa versa.dont have to do that on jyxnbox plus the jyxnbox was half the price
That is NOT normal behavior for a T4 or a T5.I can't say how many I have out there,but all of them using legacy/sw21 combos and ALL switch sd/hd seamlessly.Are you using a legacy setup or DP?Quote:
