How to get channel names instead of program

I just scanned 82 and 91, some channels do have names, but mostly I see (for example WWE) Program-1446. Is there a way to get all channels to show the name instead of the program and its number?

Not sure in the case of the Jynx, but it sounds like the guide isn't populating.Park it on channel 522 History channel (1522 sidless) for 10 minutes & try again.

thanks will try that. I do however, have a full program guide, its just the channel names.

Not familiar with the Jynx but something to ponder in the link below. Guess it would depend on version and or model to whether it would work with your Jynx.

Try leaving it on the channel for a minute and see if it changes by itself.

Thanks I've tried both and still giving me the channel names as program number

it's been awhile but I remember some boxes have the option to choose what to display

it was an option like full channel name
