Didn't know where to put this one.
OK kids, I have a 220/240 volt air compressor, whole shop vacuum system and 3 phase rotary converter, that are located out in the pump shack, I have some 240 volt standard light bulbs telling me it's (and the other stuff) online,(old brain, bad ears) I'm having problems finding replacement bulbs for that voltage here in the US. (it was hard to find them in the first place)
I have the bulbs connected with one phase on the center button and one phase on the shell. (the part that screws into the socket)
The question I have is will a 220-270 volt rated LED 60 watt light bulb work in this setup? (Dual phase power input) Without popping it's top.
I can find LED bulbs that will take up to 270 volts AC but I don't know if they will take 110/120 on both sides.
Stumped.
