    Default silly plant roots

Anyone knwo of a half easy way to get trunked roots out of a chain link fence... grown around without removing the fence itself?

I don't think there is any easy way cuz I see these old tree parts hanging in fences where utilities and local government prunes. You're going to have to hack away at it with whatever pruner seems appropriate for the diameter of the wood. If the fence is not painted (or you don't care) maybe a dose of lighter fluid and a match might take some of the work out. Not sure how feasible that is for your situation.

drill holes and they will start a point for rotting and decomposition. then it is easier to remove when it decomposes.

fire will definitely damage fence and you need a fair amount of heat to maintain combustion
