    Exclamation + and -[polarization]

    on the skybox s12 does it have a place to hook up the polarization switch [+ and - channels] or just how does that work
    i know on the HTS TRACKER AND THE OTHER receivers there was a place to hook up the negative and postive

    No it wont have that "Bro" It is designed for a LNBF.
    Do you know what kind of LNB you have? It may analog which is not any good any more
    Toys include:

    no i dont but i will let you know today

    it says on it cal amp international
    hemt low noise block converter 62 db

    it doesent have the letters LNB -F OR LNB ON IT

    Hmm, I'm not sure on that...I think some of those were digital ready.

    Most of us use LNBF's which are automaticly polarized, so it's not even a thought...

    Sorry I really dont know much about LNB's. Hopefully someone who does will see this thread.

    I have a DMX741, & a DMX741U

    Hmm, I'm not sure on that...I think some of those were digital ready.

    that brings me back. on my cband dish used orignal box to change polarity lnb to fta fortec could scan both +- then got geosatc-ku lnb. no need to change polarities anymore.but still use 2 move dish think its time for me to update to v-box for that as well

    The "Polarization switch" goes to a little motor that actually turns an "L" shaped rod inside the the LNB, this switches between the "H" and "V" polarity's of the transponders, and was also used for fine tuning the transponders.

    This should go to the Vbox, but it may not have a connection for this, because your LNB if it has the "Polarizer" may be way too old for that Vbox.

    You might be better off with the LNB that Augoldfinger mentioned, it doesn't use a "Polarizer".
