Sorry bud but you just demonstrated the importance of discussions revolving around what not to do.

    One would be pp.

Time to move on, if your wrong about something......man up don't keep beating that horse.

Besides then you have the animal rights activates on your back.

Lets move on with helpful alternatives for members if they choose to play.

    Also, as an FYI

    Green Dot MoneyPak

    is not the same as

    Green Dot Visa (Pre-Paid)

    Code:
    https://www.greendot.com/greendot
However, you can take money from a MoneyPak code and transfer that into your Green Dot Visa (with a $4.95 fee). All other reload methods link back to a bank account.

    Code:
    https://www.greendot.com/greendot/account/learn-how?from=landingpage

Once a court action has been filed, PayPal gets served with a subpoena and they basically hand over all pertinent financial, identity, banking, and address information over to DISH. There are other payment processors that would 1) ignore the subpoena because they are not bound by US laws 2) respond that they have nothing to turn over because they are an anonymous payment processor 3) be unable to be served because they are not a central body, but instead provided open source software to allow for peer-to-peer payments (as in the case of bitcoin).

Anyway, this thread is open for discussion, so... discuss away. What do you use? Why do you use it? Have you heard of others that you are curious about?

I for one want to hear from people that use Bitcoin.

The issue is discussing pros and cons of the payment options, not pulling rank or comparing colors.. Just for your information, rank and color are a handicap a lot of times.. It involves obligations, controling ones temper and putting out little misunderstandings before they become problematic.. I fondly remember my days as a VIP...
Now back to the topic at hand, pros and cons .. We have seen proof of the risks of PP for IKS payments.. Lets explore the other options. It could come in handy for those that use PS and want something more secure..
    Knowledge is power..

All the methods are getting risky these days, I am sticking to the Western Union as i can always use false address and fake names. A lot slower to receive codes but a lot safer.

PayPal will give law enforcement your name, address and contact info just for asking. A subpoena is only required to access your bank account and credit card information.

I don't know why people keep harping on this. PayPal makes it quite clear in their user agreement--if the cops come calling YOYO (You're On Your Own.)

Also, my understanding is that Green Dot now requires you to register with a valid Social Security Number. And Green Dot does not work outside the United States....

Green Dot MoneyPak is bought off the shelves, it is bought with cash and there is no ID info required. I cannot speak to the Visa card since I did no research on it.

Do the WU agents ask for your ID when you are sending money?

Has any reseller used google checkout?
Several Friends used them when they bought products from coolsatellite and very little info was asked for compared to PP, took any prepaid CC unlike PP and all that was needed was an e-mail addy for non shipping transactions and if i recall correctly, google does not hand out personal info to anyone that easily, unlike PP or Ebay for that matter
