I didn't want you to think I was spending the money on myself. That's why I posted a reply explaining where the SatFix Bux went.

Here's a little token of my gratitude for your generous donation. Please accept it in the spirit that its meant...

    Default Jynxbox message regarding tuners

    C/P

Just to try and avoid some confusion, this is what we just found out. We are working on something that might be able to solve this issue.

JB100 is discontinued and can not be used for any type of dual tuner function on V1 or V2 of the Jynxbox Ultra HD.

If the end user wants to do dual satellite function (any combination of DVBS2 and JB200) on a V1 box they need a version B of the DVBS2 and/or JB200 installed in slot 1 of the unit.

Jynxbox Ultra HD V1 tuner possible combos:
    ------------

    Slot 1: ATSC or JB200-B or DVBS2-B
    Slot 2: ATSC or JB200 or DVBS2

Jynxbox Ultra HD V2 tuner possible combos:
    ------------

    Slot 1: ATSC or JB200 or DVBS2
    Slot 2: ATSC or JB200 or DVBS2

JB200-B and DVBS2-B are not compatible and are only for V1 boxes.

I have a v1 with jb100. So if i want ota channels i would need atsc tuner and jb200b correct? Is there anyneed for dvbs2? Isnt it already built into the box? Also, i am a little confused about the need for any tuners if viewing north only. I think my vs9000hd hd didnt need any extra tuners for north birds
    Thanks

db-DVB-S2 works in 8psk & qpsk? i have one jynxbox ultra hd with both tuners (jb-200 & jb-dvb-s2), when i add a DVB-s2 TP in 8psk, i can't do it, because the box has not option in "DVB-S2- 8PSK" only in QPSK, "turbo" is only for JB-200. I tried to scan a DVB-S2 8psk TP in "turbo" option, but it fails.

If the end user wants to do dual satellite function (any combination of DVBS2 and JB200) on a V1 box they need a version B of the DVBS2 and/or JB200 installed in slot 1 of the unit. Any idea when the version B will be on the market? I did se the info on converting to a B but I do not have steady hands anymore. Thank you

Only V1 boxes need "B" tuners.

So along the line of what is what.... I would like to order a Jynxbox V2. The options include what?
JB200 QPSK Module is for HDTV only? And the DVBS2 Tuner for Satellite?
Do I need both DVBS2 and JB200 in order to turn this into a satellite receiver?

If you want DN or Bev, you need the JB200, if you want other fta sats, you will need the DVBS2. The DVBS2 is an option, the JB200 usually is included with your order, but may come not installed.

I have the V1 Jynx and understand that I need a JB200B Tuner but don't see them anywhere. Does anyone know what site or where they can be found? And, for my information, does the JB200 make any difference in improving the PVR function? Thanks!
