    looking at getting a new wireless router i am looking for something real good any sugestions??

    I like Cisco routers best!

    i have two DIR-825, they are both running ddwrt. Only $90 at bestbuy and they have dual band Wi-Fi.

    Be careful when buying dual band routers. Make sure it's simultaneous dual band because the majoraty of wireless adapters are 2.5 Ghz.

    Netgear WNDR3400v2 . 80 bucks if not cheaper and lifetime hardware warranty. Dual band with auto feature so no 2.5GHz issues and 300mbs and 5G.

    I looked at that one. Was advised by several staff not to get it as the service/support is terrible and does not perform as stated.
