    Default jtag connection diagram?

Can someone please post where the jtag connections go for lifetime ultra so I can jtag my fortec. It's rolling b75 over and over. Tried to load b75 bin to make it stop but not accepting any download. Tried Gtrom, Blacklist and fortec updater, none of them is able to write to the receiver. Also tried puff files to see if I can convert back, but still no success. I converted this unit way back to b75 and it was working fine. I installed the auto free Japan file and it was working for a while then it start rolling b75. I soldered pins to the receiver according to diagram I have from N2 era, but the file doesn't include were the jtag pins should go on the receiver. I appreciate any help if someone knows where the jtag pins go on the receiver. I already have the receiver diagram, I just need where to plug in the jtag pins. Thank you

You can try googling how to make a jtag cable, the pin varies between the 10 pin and the 20 pin

Thanks hanky. my jtag pins that connect to the parallel port on the pc are #2,3,4,5 and 13 and the rest is connected to ground. I'm not sure which goes to what on the 20 pins diagram of the fortec. Any help would appreciated.

    For 20 pin jtag cable

    DB25 male connector
    Pin 2 » 100ohm » JTAG Pin 9
    Pin 3 » 100ohm » JTAG Pin 11
    Pin 4 » 100ohm » JTAG Pin 13
    Pin 5 » 100ohm » JTAG Pin 19
    Pin 13 » 100ohm » JTAG Pin 15
    Pin 18-25 »-------------» GND

TDO I have seen some simple ones with a 33 ohm resistor instead of 100 ohm, since it's an output from the tsop and not an input

I have 100 ohm resistors on my Jtag and everything zelig shows in diagrams are correct I have done a few Fortecs and Pansats with mine, all work well with proper file and Jkeys or wall.

I can't seem to get this fortec respond to jkey. It still saying check connection. I have 2 jtags I tried them both, I even soldered the cables directly to the fortec pins and still not able to read the tsop. I think I am going to use it as a door stop. But the problem is, it's rolling the b75 and I should be able to just use straight cable to program it. Even with that hooked up, using all kind of loaders, blacklist, gtrom and fortec loader and still no success. My question is, Is the b75 file is an indication that the fortec was converted to pansat 2700?

    Hey Nash
Been awhile since I played with the fortecs and panny's , On your jtag plug did you solder a wire to ground side pins on plug and solder other end to ground pin on board? I don't know if this makes a difference or not might want to give this a try. Just like putting files into a fortec or Pansat the timing may have to be right with Jkeys. Try hooking up your wires again and as soon as you hit the on/off switch on back of receiver try running you Jkeys again see if that works. I think your right the rolling b75 means you are now a Pansat 2700. I'll have to look at older files in folders to see what other info I can come up with. I can't remember much anymore the grey area above i.s fading away also I know that rolling b75 is not a hard fix either.
