    Default Washer wont drain

I freaked out with an inpending ice storm on the way and threw a medium size comforter in the machine. Did not notice that it fell over the top of the agitator and washed this way. The machine did not drain and does not now. I hear a clicking noise when it hits that cycle than it finishes the cycle. Am I in big trouble or little trouble? Been to sick with the flu to call anyone, that in itself is scarey. I usually end up with the rip off guy. Any advice so I can act like I know whats going on?

I'd start with checking that there is no water in the hose going to the water level sensor ( they operate using air pressure).

Not sure I fully understand but as was said, the water level is controlled by a plastic tube that activates a switch (with air pressure) when the water level is correct ... If it's not pumping out the water, that sounds like a pump or clog drain issue .... Lol

Did you try bypassing the lid switch ? Can you verify if power is going to the pump ?
