i dont know about you guys but i think that the quality of iheart radio is certainly one of the best.

i was chatting with a buddy of mine who is program director of a local radio station. they live stream for their own website. i asked him when he's going to fix that because it sounds like listening to am stereo ... but worse!! i says stream is abysmal and he cannot do anything about it. It’s low-bit-rate mp3 encoding which, yes, sounds like AM radio but the company won’t move them to either a higher bitrate or AAC encoding. that's whats needed for good internet radio.

so, what does buford recommend? if starters, if you're into number 1 hits my first choice is 106.1 kiss fm from dallas / fort worth. awesome sound ... awesome positioning ... awesome jingles ... great to listen to. second choice: z100 out of new york city.

happy listening, gang!
