    Default Captiveworks VEUBOX

I saw on the market a box called VEUBOX. it's kind of IPTV and FTA.

Do you know if it supports IKS servers?
Do you have any idea about the quality?

    Thanks in advance

It does not appear to be an fta box. Looks like it's only a Media type unit.

now I know this is going to stir the pot LOL

last I heard CW had totally left the iks scene after the failure of the CW4000 to perform as promised plus they also had some serious paranoia happening at the same time. What I believe this might be is the same box minus the Genpix (original or clone tuner) and then having the hard drive loaded with XBMC and a few other streaming media apps instead of tuner drivers.

I bet a person could pick up an old PC at a yard same for about $50, load it up with a version of Linux and then download the same apps for free off the net and the only other expense would be adding a video card to the PC with HDMI output

regardless it is nothing new as a google search will turn up the fact that it was released in Oct 2010. Also the hardware specs are so dated at this point that the CPU, RAM, etc is approximately 5 years old.

would I buy one? Sure if the price was right and that would be about $50 max. The little mini androids have more punch for less than half the price of that thing
