Default ONKYO HT-R370 audio output issue

Tonight was the second this time happened.....

Out of the blue, my Onkyo receiver will randomly "reset" it's configuration.

    Here is my setup:
CBL/SAT has my Bell Sat HD - have digital audio (optical) going to one optical input

DVR/VCR is the PS3 - digital audio (optical again) goes to other optical input

DVD/BD is Jynxbox receiver - this is going with the red/white RCA cables to the DVD/BD input

What seems to happen a couple times is the receiver will somehow all of a sudden shut off all audio outputs. When trying set the options to their appropriate settings - I will first get the audio from the CBL/SAT setting coming through on all of them. Don't ask me how, I don't know. I did NOT touch or change any settings.

Anybody had this issue come up? Any suggestions?

Even once - in the middle of the night, this receiver turned itself on, and the volume turned itself all the way up. Let me tell ya...... at 3AM this really freaks you out!!!! This only happened once.

    Default

Another odd thing with this is that the remote power button just stops working.

2-3 days later, power button works fine on it.

The joys of modern electronics I guess.
