    well here is what my xx-log command gives me now with primary router LAN hard wired to goo3 router WAN, and goo LAN hard wired to NFHD with 25 bin both set to DHCP. Goo router is a Buffalo whr-g54s and came with DD-WRT micro, factory installed.

    it's been a while since i done one of these...

    my questions are:

    1. does the DES key need semi colins? eg...

    01:02:03:04:05:06:07:08:09:10:11:12:13:14
    vs
    0102030405060708091011121314

    2. do we use parenthesis (" ") or remove them? eg...

    server_0="usernameassword@serverort/des_key"
    vs
    server_0=usernameassword@serverort/des_key

    I just took out all my semi-colons and parenthesis and left setup on interface as is (DHCP), then set NFHD to DHCP and finally got this to work for me after a week. I know Goo intended static settings but I'm gonna take what I can get for now and hope it is as they say better than NOI. Thnx Poroto40 and velocity9421

    hello Goo So I guess I need to set something else that I overlooked. It has been somewhat daunting just getting to where I am so I may have overlooked some basic directions slapping me in the face. But No body seems to have asked this question so I must be the only person trying to figure out how to write or set up to this program. I think I will have it done once I figure this out with some help.
    Before I put in the start up script xx-version did say I had GOO-3 (per goofather's pdf) so I assume xx-client was working then. I put in the startup script and saved it and the script now stays below where my version info was displayed.My client bridge works and nfusion has internet as my weather map does display. I do over think making things seem more difficult. So basically after entering the start up script if done correctly that should be it?????

    server_timeout=10
    server_retries=0
    ignore_caid=1

    "server_" either 1 2 or3 and so on is for separate servers / donations
    As far as one donation for multiple stb,s no more than one powered up at the same time. 1 donation 1 box.

    If you are using more than 1 receiver at the same time you need multiple donations. How to set up several receivers, each with their own donation is explained in the PDF readme file included in your download.

    goofather (or anyone else with the answer):

    I just downloaded and installed goo3 on a linksys that was already running dd-wrt v24-sp2 micro. The upgrade went fine (the firmware date is correct) and the router is functioning. However, when I feed it a command (via the web interface) it doesn't return anything. Tried "xx-version" as shown in your pdf, hit "run commands", and got nothing in return (not even an error).

    Am I missing something small and stupid?

    thx.mch.

    Did you copy and paste the start up script and save:
    To create a startup script you must open a browser and navigate to http://<router_ip>. Then click on the
    Administration->Commands tabs. Once there you will find an edit box and a button labeled “Save Startup”.
    You insert the startup script into the edit box and when finished you click the “Save Startup” button. Reboot
    to execute the startup script and launch xx-client.
