Default Help with reaching serial port on the xfta router when running fsec

Hi, does anybody know how to setup the xfta router so that the serial port is available to an iks client such as fsec?
I tried changing inittab and running setserial, to no avail.
The serial ports in my router (as they show up in the filesystem) are /dev/tts/0 and /dev/tts/1.
I wonder why there are two filesystem mount points when in fact there is only one serial port.

I didn't want you to think I was spending the money on myself. That's why I posted a reply explaining where the SatFix Bux went.

Here's a little token of my gratitude for your generous donation. Please accept it in the spirit that its meant...

Dear Anubis, you can close this thread. I found the answer and the answer is I didn't have the right avr to connect the router to the receiver.
