Has anyone found a way to scan one sat at a time? If not, I would add that to my wish list.

your answer awaits .. http://www.satfix.net/showthread.php...757#post982757
Nostradamus, sorry. When I hook up an other stb everything works as it should. It is only this mini. It seems to read 110 as 119, even though the order and settings are correct. I got it to scan correctly exactly one time as a single sat, but when you add sats it then screws up and adds double channels. It is not right. What is throwing me off is any other stb connected to the line with the same settings works fine, scans fine, etc.
Thanks ftaforme, I agree. I have definitely been around for a while and this thing has me stumped. I cannot get it to reliably scan 119, no matter what I do. I have scanned and defaulted many many times and it has scanned 110 almost every time. Twice it scanned 119, with the same settings, the same everything, and I am copying exactly everything every time. The settings work perfectly for three other stb's on 119, just not on the mini, so hopefully the right people are reading the wish list and see it is an issue.
are you getting a lock on satellite before scanning?
the way my buddy did it was like this ...
factory default
antenna setings
set up sat 110 put it on transponder 12224 to get a lock .. save setting
set up sat 119 put it on transponder 12297 to get a lock .. save setting
set up sat 129 put it on transponder 12676 to get a lock .. save setting
exit
from main menu select
channel scan / tuner=all, network=disable
press blue button and wait
Spoon Feeders FEED Bottom Feeders
On tp 12297 it locks on 110, or at least it says it's 110. When I get it to lock onto 119 it actually is scanning 110. You know I've been around this hobby for a while, but really, this has got me very confused...it has to be sw since the other stb's all work perfectly on the same line, same settings, etc. This box does nee the ability to scan single sats, one at a time, though. It doesn't seem to do that.....
near as I know you can scan individual sats from the antenna setup by pressing blue button
Spoon Feeders FEED Bottom Feeders
The problem is that you can do one satellite, but when you go to scan the next one the stb rescans the original plus the new one. If you have, say, three satellites and scan them one at a time you will have three channels of the first one you scanned, two of the second sat scanned and one of the last one scanned.
Has anyone mentioned a free standing file???? ROFLMAO
Guys Pvr is working on the new file amazing...
Gona test P$ saving...will get back to u all....
These guys are great, very detail work ! Thanx
They have to work on DPP44 switch. When configured as dishpro and diseq parameter as A,B,C,D there is signal sometimes and no signal another time. Also noted when you change channels no signal and wait for sometime may signal kicks in. I think dishpro and DPP44 needs fine tuning in the software. When tested with standard lnbs and regular diseq switches no issues. If these minor issues are corrected Pinwheel mini is a great receiver.
