    Unhappy coolsat 4000 refuse

Dusted off the old coolsat 4000 to scan 97w but it refuses to detect tp 12154 h 20000 and if I add the tp manually it doesn't show any signal quality.I had been using firmware v120 or v121 to get n2 radio on 97w but I switched to later firmwares and even the last one, same problem.
Other old receivers like skyview and magnum find and scan that tp no problem. Was just wondering if anybody else had the same problem or do I have a dud receiver.Even euro sky x firmware had the same problem.

I've found that 97 degree sat requires a little tweaking of dish to get all the TP correctly. The peak location for one TP is not the peak for all.

I tried with my old viewsat platinum lite,I had to put the old 9-11-07 firmware back on,the last version that had the blindscan option.
Horribly slow at 55 minutes to blindscan 97w.
It detected 12154 h but not the 2 jazeera channels.Just the other channels on that tp.
Skyview 1000 detected the tp and channels.

Personally have a 31" pointed at 97 and that is one of my better signal TP`s.

    Unhappy

a moot point now that the biss encrypted channel on that tp is gone.
