I'm getting Amazonas on c band with 60-65% signal quality on my x2 premium receiver. Your lnb will probably need to be skewed or you might need to tweak your dish to improve signal quality. Here's a pic of FGV test card channel at 61%:

No problem abri. I scanned Amazonas last night. The channel scans in as SBT Porto Alegre:

I have not noticed any loss of signal quality when these tp were transferred over to Amazonas 3 from 1. If you have tried all the above mentioned things then you may require a larger dish. Try something, when you get 20% signal quality on FG channel go outside and push your dish down a bit or up- if there is increased signal quality then you will need to adjust your dish elevation.

Your dish is too small. The transition to Amazonas 3 has obviously had an effect on your signal quality.

It should just reenforce the pole just in case the new dish is heavier

I actually have my 10' bud on a pole that is meant for a 6' dish, they didn't have the thicker pipe at the time of install. We have had some brutal wind storms but it hasn't affected the dish at all and its been 4 1/2 years.
