it's a false positive. Don't worry about it.

The detector software looks for a string of bytes that match pattern for known bugs and malware, but there are only so many bytes and sometimes the strings are found where they should not be. Remember that the code is being run on a processor that is not used in a PC so how do you think it is going to do what a bot would do in a PC?--different operating systems can't run the stuff that does bad things on other OS--linux and windows don't have common malware do they? Unless someone is trickier than I think they are, you are safe.

Now, if someone wanted to slip in something nasty in FTA box's code--that would be just plain easy and no PC malware detect code would ever know.

I went thru this exact scenario 2 yrs ago at another site.
I found the same problem with the NOI file and viruses.
Also just downloaded a new NOI file just yesterday and guess what .....MALEWAREBYTES SHOWED TONS OF BACKDOOR BOTS AGAIN....
Justleave alone the NOI stuff it finds...as stated, its a false positive.
    Dont worry..be happy.

actually NOI runs on the computer and not the receiver... not surprising it does give off malware warnings though seeing as how it is emulating a server. At the same time wouldn't it be a hoot if it also is the program used to run the DDOS attacks on the servers and everybody with NOI installed is part of the problem
