Default Nfusion Solaris working without NOI???

    Hello

Hey is the Nfusion Solaris working without NOI???

Im sorry to say I haven't been using mine or keeping up with the latest news since I bought a Dreamlink.

But if there is a new bin that works without NOI, I'd love to give it a try.

Can you please direct me to new files, if they are available please.

    Thanks for your help

I just loaded the 5.04 bin...seem to me that that will work since I have Ethernet close to my box.... I don't need the wireless hookup.

    Thanks for your help

Ya, maybe your right. But now I have to fiddle with a router, and loading still another program or two in the router...It seems some peeps have had luck with the 5.02, 5.04 and Oeciks..... I thought oeciks was just for only a certain PS?

if you have no luck(if programming your router is not your cup of tea) with goo, there's another program that works too, NOT using NOI! Only has room for two iks providers though.

i read the post after yours about the "check this out" link. all that the single comment in that link says, is that the 5.04 "IS LIKE" brians bin! yeah and ?? so what ?

i've know of quite a few who have used the 5.04 on their nFusions (nova, solaris, phoenix) and they have worked fine.
if you're getting a update message you're doing something wrong.

the "GOO" will work on all nFusions including the HD box (which the extreme 5.04 won't). I personally have not run goo on any of my friends nFusions. Thats not to say it doesn't work or that it doesn't work well! You need to be a little more adept with your router thats all.

    hope this helps

Unbricking a router is only more fun. By the way did it die right after you sent it the kill bin?

Thats what i was referring to, changing your routers function can be a tricky thing. for some its easy as pie, others not so.

As far as 504 you MUST be doing something wrong, it works fine for MANY others. I'll c/p the loading instructions I use. try again, noi CAN be a real pain in the A$$, on top of the fact your computer is involved as well!

Xtreme Instruction for Nfusion SD Only

    - If you are already using NOI bin, start with step 5 (start with step 1)

    - If you are already using Nfusion 58W bin, start with step 7

    1. Load the boot_g3x_to r3x_v1.23.bin file in BOOT mode.

    2. Load this file u48 factory file from July 2009 also in BOOT mode.

    3. Load this file next... boot file v.130 also in BOOT mode.

    4. Load this file 090928 sol phoenix sd v153 1 (Maint. release) in MAIN mode.

    5. Load the file named boot_126.bin.in BOOT mode.

    6. Load the file named nfusion_factory_U17.bin in BOOT mode.

    7. Load the file named XSTV4.14.bin in MAIN mode.

    8. Load the file named IKSPRv5.04.bin in MAIN mode.

    9. Do a factory default <- very important! Menu > Newcamd Setting > Factory Default

    10. Now Menu TO Newcamd Setting > Server Info>OK> 5585 Enter your info “C” button – clear “i” button – cap / small letters / number Menu button - previous menu When doing url leave second one blank Same as password and username and port to leave second one blank. When doing DNS make sure you do 2 number then a space and so on Like this... 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 After entering info hit menu couple times.

    11.Scan your sats...set time etc.

    12. Confirm that switch port assignments for sats are saved. Sometimes it doesn’t get saved.

    13. Set a valid channel w/good signal

14.Turn OFF from rear switch and turn ON again <- Very important

    15. Wait Couples of second and you’ll get TV By XtremeServiceTv Notes: Normally, power on / off through remote fixes hanging. It might take some seconds before TV shows up after receiver is put off / standby mode. You might need to do channel hopping to get TV. Favorite doesn’t work. Channel lock doesn’t work properly. Only Blind Scan is available for scanning. There’s no option for sat 118W but sat 61.5W is available. There are some minor bugs in the software but it works quite well.
