    How low did it drop? 20%, 50% 70% ??

And do you still have a signal on all your channels?

Most ATSC tuners will work down to a -65 dBm, it could be that the new video card is drawing more power then the old one, this could affect other cards

40% lower I have a 430 watt power supply. I sized it with an app. It told me a 360 watt would do. Yes I have a signal on some.

    OK more questions:

Does the new VC take as much power as the old one?

Do you have an external TV antenna?

    Dose it take a pre-amp?

If so is the DC power inserter working or may have come un-plugged?

Or does your TV tuner supply the DC voltage to the pre-amp?

Some of the newer video cards have more ram memory, this takes more power then the old cards.

What was the brand/model of the old card and how much ram did it have?

Terryl the CW 3k is an htpc that uses vlc & CW os to work . The old v.c. was on bord . The new vc is 300watts min and the old ps was only 260 watts.

If the new video card takes 300 watts, and the system took lets say 200 watts to run with the on board video then your short on power, I would go with at least a 550 watt power supply, that 200 for the system and 300 for the video card, gives you 50 watts to spare.

You can allways go with a bigger then recomended power supply, the system will only take what it needs, but under-powering it will cause problems.
