Default Setting up AZ box for loop through

I have AZbox HD premium+ as slave and Limesat HD Air(master). I dont want to damage any of them by lnb power on or switch 0/12v in the set up menu for AZ box HD. I scanned all the sat. channels directly from the main cable. Now i would like to use AZbox as a slave .Any warnings or suggestins about AX box set up? And how can i use slave box to watch most available transporders? Can i use both at the same time? Thank You.

I have never used my azbox that way but I think the azbox port settings will be 0 & LNB power off, so what ever sat your main
receiver is on will be the only sat the azbox will get, so to get another sat on the axbox you would need to put your main receiver
on a CH that is on the sat you want the azbox on.
Why would you want to do this, why not just run another cable from the lnb with a switch for the azbox.

My LNB`s are all dual. And with 3 receivers i use i have to run one of them through the loop. With LNB power off slave receiver doesnt pick up any signal. So i tried it with lnb power on and master receiver off(back switch is still ON.

Works fine and i get all sat`s with no problem .Now i would like to try it with master receiver power ON.So i could watch 2 at the same time.

Your only going to be able to watch what ever transponder and satellite the main receiver is on.

It's best to run a separate coax for the other receiver, get a 4x4 switch to match your LNB's (DP type needs a DP rated switch) and you can run more receivers.

If you have DP LNB's you can go with 3 DPP44 switches and run 9 to 12 receivers off the 3 LNB's.

Do you have a motor on the satellite dish?
