Default SV 360 Elite channels disappear from guide, but they are there.

    I have an SV360 Elite.
It is working on an Ihub and NFPS.

I have both tuners connected to a DP Plus, I scanned 110 on one tuner and 119 on the other. All that works and I have a lot of channels. Many work, many do not, and I understand that's just how it is. Picture is beautiful.

So the problem I have is this: I have lots of guide data, but channel blocks are just missing from the guide. They are not missing from the channel list which you get if you push guide two times.

After I bring up a missing channel group in the channel list or by entering the number manually, then it will appear in the guide, for a while. Maybe an extra 30 or 40 channels are then in the guide which were just missing before.

A big group of the 500s will be missing, but they are there when I type the number. After I bring one up I get them all, with guide data, for a while. Later, that block will disappear from the guide.

    Odd, huh?

Both tuners work, that all seems to be fine.
I have no switch installed at all, just the DPP 1000. Two wired directly to the back of the SV360. There hav been statements on another site that the SV360 doesn't have enough power for DPP but as I said it does seem to work.

I have a DPP44 switch but I haven't bothered to install it. Because it all seems to work. I just don't think that is causing channel blocks to disappear from the guide.

BTW, some channels come in immediately, some, there is a delay while the box on the screen says "scrambled", then they start working, I suspect that is a server delay, receiving a response.

Some never come in and the "scrambled" message remains.

Let me try to help with what I know, first yes you need to power up that system the SV360 can't do it on it's own, Elite and Premier are known to blow a Cap just by powering up the I-Hub with 5V so trying to power up the DP1000 is more then the I-Hub, I also notice you have 1 tuner dedicated to 119 and the other tuner to 110, I will try this first, have 2 switches so in each tuner you get 119 and 110, I am sure the guide issue will be solved, second and most important, install the switch 44 you mention since you have it, some members are dieing to have one and you have one so get the benefit of the switch to your demands......about thee firmware not very clear since I haven't use a Sonicview since 2009 but as far as I remember if you have the I-Hub this one needs to be converted to LAN wish is easy with the premier and elite because both receivers upgrade the I-Hub and NewLink to LAN after installing the receiver's software, if your I-Hub is converted to LAN all should be OK.............Again the EPG issue should be solved after each tuner is connected to both 119 and 110 and the sw44 to help with the voltage. I scanned the tuners that way, but they didn't stay dedicated, They both switch, and that seems to be all automatic. I tried the dedicated idea but I don't see that as being supported. It seems to have been programmed to be dynamic. Pretty slick, which is why I can't see that is the problem.

Naturally, my ihub is being used with the lan, all that works.

    Unhook your dongle for now.

Load the System clean file two times:
    http://www.satfix.net/attachment.php...5&d=1349012909

    Load the factory file:
    http://www.satfix.net/attachment.php...4&d=1349012809

Load the current file for your box:
    http://www.satfix.net/attachment.php...8&d=1349011101

Redo your sat settings and scan for channels.
Reconnect the dongle and come back to tell us how it went.

    Good luck,

OK I know your I-Hub is connected to LAN what I meant is the dongle named LAN, first it was the I-Hub then it came the NewLink and last was the LAN, the first and second dongle have to be converted to the last dongle it came for SonicView, I am sure the receiver is doing the Change automatically but I remember when those receiver came to the game the proper or recommended method for setup was like that, 119 y 110 connected to a diseq or Switch21 from that switch to tuner 1 and the same set up for tuner 2 that way both tuners can access both Sats......now what the colleague suggested you is a good idea to try, load the system clean file and the others the way he has suggested. I did that procedure, it seems to have made no difference. The stuff that worked before still works, the stuff that didn't, about the same.

For instance, in the guide I now have a number of duplicate channels. I had those before and I deleted them with channel edit.
I have channel 480 and then 562, none between there in the guide, but if I click guide twice there are a number of channels there and some appear when I select them, and then I notice that 239 and thereabouts disappear, but still work.

Your transponder file is a mess.
Do a factory reset in the menu and then load this file:
    http://www.satfix.net/attachment.php...6&d=1391855796

    That should fix your issue.

That's a bin file with a channel list.
Is that not a part of the es22 file which I loaded?

Wow! The channel list straightened it all out.
That was so nonsensical before. Now, much better.
I did find a channel mis named in the loaded channel list.
I corrected it but if I knew how to correct the posted list I would, just to make things better.

    Default Channel list

Is that channel list only for SV, or can it be used on other FTA boxes?

A friend has a couple Linkbox, I think he has the same problem I had.

channel list have to be made to a specific receiver since all use different files, some are BIN. ROM. ABS ETC.
