Does anyone have experience using the DishPointer Pro App for pointing the dish to the right direction. Can someone please guide me through the process of using the App.
do you have to point the LNB to the satellite in the App?

I have never used the app but I suspect that would be the logical thing to do.
I meant to ask how Accurate is the App?
I am going to move this thread to where it should be. Hopefully someone will respond.
I did go to the Google play store to examine it a bit and there's a couple reviews there that say it is a great tool so I would have to say yes it is accurate.

I already told you to check out the free satfinder app!
It worked for me.. I got subscription to the farm..
Thanks
You look through the phone's camera screen to the satellite shown in the sky. Helps greatly to determine obstacles. I've found the elevation is more accurate than the azimuth but it's difficult to determine a dish position based on your camera's position looking directly at the satellite. A compass is better for azimuth and elevation markings on a dish mount are adequate to begin alignment. The app is a cool tool giving you the approximate sat position in the sky through your camera lens from your GPS determined position.
