I have tested this box with Gotham 13.1 and working really well although there is a problem with the remote and doing a search so you will need to use a mini to do searches.

So you are able to watch HD, 720 and 1080 video with out chop? Or you find a version with HWA built in?

i have no problems with lagging on the previous version of xbmc, granted there is always some that have issues but I find if you are connected to sockshare or putlocker or movreel you shouldn't have any issues

12.0 has HWA built in thus why it runs so smooth. Try to find out if 13.1 gave other guy same results

If you tested this unit then I would like to know if you tried Kit Kat and where you got the unit.

For Gotham 13.1 make sure you go to system and under Input options use remote to input keyboard presses or something like that. Basically make sure top two radio buttons are ON.

Also this box has same specs at the midnight mx2 box. 99% sure you can load their image on the box. I've purchased generic aml8726-mx chip based boxes...loaded the mx2 1.1.8 beta firmware and xbmc 13.1 beta and flawless.

What requirements are needed for an android to work? Do you need unlimited internet? How much data is used? I am limited to 20 Gb a month would I exceed this, for TV watching?

Sorry just checked my plan, I get 150 Gb a month. Does android exceed this? How much does it use? Not too familiar with this product and it doesn't really say on the sites?

150 GB is a lot of data, at the same time streaming uses a lot of bandwidth as well. Actual usage would depend on how much you used it and what resolution you were watching in. HD uses a lot more bandwidth than SD and 1080 uses more than 720 so there really is no definitive answer to your question
