Is there a file session on the forum for this model Azbox? I see files for other models but not the ULTRA unless I am missing it. Thank you

We don't need a file section, the older model axboxes can be upgraded from the receiver menu, or can use a usb and load the file
from azbox.ca, just look at the azbox sticky, all the info you will need is there, if its not just ask and I will help you.
The ultra uses the same files as the premium & premium plus models.

The ultra is a great receiver that will open 4:2:2 feeds as well. It's blind scan can be brutally slow at times but it can be used for enigma as it is a linux box.

I see they have a buyer protection. Keep on them and send it back.

Your azbox is probably stuck in Pal. You will need to connect it to your tv with composite(rca) wires in order to get it out of Pal and into Ntsc. I do hope that they get you the remote as well.

I just had a look at the ultra without a remote. If the receiver boots up in the settings menu then just scroll down to Display using down arrow on the front of the receiver and left to get in and change Pal to Ntsc. If the receiver doesn't boot up in the settings menu then you must do this to get to settings:

press left arrow and hold to get to the menu choice

scroll to settings and press OK

scroll down to display and change to Ntsc

    Good luck.

Front of receiver has no left arrow. All I have is( ch-up) (ch-down) and( vol-up) (vol-down) and a (ok-button) also in the composite I only have audio left and right no yellow video input. I also programed my Harmony 628 remote for the receiver. In the remote it calls it a media center pc would that be correct. The remote dose not work with the receiver anyways. Please help

I think its time to send this receiver back to where it came from,JMO.
Why don't you get the azbox HD premium plus, then you can add a 1 TB Hard Drive for recording.

I have an Ultra and those were the buttons that I meant, left-right and up-down. You will need a tv that can acccomodate yellow slot for video as the Ultra is equipped for composite.

That's a shame my friend, then you cannot do anything without a remote. I bought 2 Ultra receivers way back from Rick Caylor and I still have one for 4:2:2 feeds when they appear. Here is a picture of the back of my Ultra, which can accomodate both composite and component cables:
