LNBF means a short to the lnb.

Unplug the receiver, remove coax to lnb, then try turning it on. Some have reported
no damage after removing the short but some have posted permanent damage.

If lnbf doesn't display after removing coax ..

Check all coax ends to be sure the shielding wires aren't near the copper center
Check for kinks or cuts in the length of coax
Check for moisture in the coax ends.

Make sure NOT to disconnect/connect coax to your receiver without unplugging it first

If this does not rectify your issues then it may be your transistor

If you are good at soldering and would like to fix yourself open up your receiver and take the pcb out right behind the tuner there is a large heat sink standing there you cannot miss it there is a transistor mounted to it, take it out get the new one from radioshack or electronic store and replace. transistor is LM317A. enjoy.

the tuner is where the lnb coax screw into..

also can mean your LNB has gone south as I believe it stands for LNB Fail... Hunter11 is absolutely correct in that if you dont unplug your receiver BEFORE you start messing with ANYTHING(switch/cable/connector/LNB) in the line you run the risk of a spark that can permanently do damage to your receiver...
