The count down occurs, but does not show GOOD on the display afterwards, shows USBL. Currently have receiver off, will turn back on in a couple of minutes.

I hope it comes back with the factory file and viewable on the tv screen...and if so you can then reload the p2028 file you were using prior to and hopefully be back to where you need to be.

Success, I now have the main menu. Should I go straight to loading the 2028 rom file now?

Sorry, I guess we were typing at the same time. Will give it a try.

I would setup Sats and scan in first get it the way you want it first
Then do the 2028 rom last

You can give it a go...you can load that one the same way and hopefully you will see adapter connect once the receiver reboots...at least I hope so...you will be a pro with force loading time you are done.

Well I loaded the 2028 file before I read your recommendation. Worked ok, but now I have no Signal or Quality on any satellite.

OK, YOUR GETTING there, you will need to go into dish settings and set that up according to the hardware you have
(LNB'S, SWITCHES, ETC.) Once you get it up and running I suggest you save (write it down) as much info as you can
for the setup you have. Good Luck, if i can help i will try.

Yes, had a real lesson on force loading via USB. Probably forget everything by the time I need to do it again. Tomorrow I will need to check things further as to why I have no quality or signal. Hope I didn't fry the switch.

Thanks, I'm not sure what happened to the signal. Hope the switch is not fried.

Never , never, never use Channel Master to loads channels to any receiver.
You may brick very easy receiver.
Channel Master is a worst cr&p I ever come across, it is so buggy, that it is beyond any imagination.

It is not even good for its primary goal, converting, sorting channels.

It crash so often, that whatever you do, after each operation u have to save your work. Otherwise, you loose hours of work and have to start from the begining.

I cannot hook direct, without a lot of rewiring.

Ok then, also if you are using the disq switch that came with the sv360P
they are junk, suggest getting a better quality switch (EMP, CHIETA)
