How to Clone a SonicView to another Sonicview

Have the Master box power "ON" and the Slave box power "OFF" completely
Connect Master & Slave box with Null Modem cable, Using remote control unit pointing at the Master and press
    Yellow Button and #4 (#1=Main software, #2=Channel List, #3 Bootloader, #4=ALL)
Now power up the SLAVE BOX by using the rear power switch and you should see it start transferring.
Wait until it finishes and reboots and you're set to go.

I cannot get anything to happen. I am just changing the channel on the first receiver. Do I need to hold the yellow and #4 buttons while I turn on the second receiver? I have tried that.

It's been awhile since I've did it, but i believe just receiver to rec. no tv hook up
Master Box over to Slave Box, Null cable connection nothing else, Hold Yellow and #4 buttons while you turn on the second receiver, and watch the front panels of receivers for any action, info from Good Box should transfer over to the other one
If nothing happens then i would say the one receiver is TOAST

I'm just trying to confirm I am using a null modem cable. As luck would have it my multimeter is not working (battery leak).

    Thumbs down

Using a different cable that I would believe is a null cable, found it in my SV360 Premier bag. Still cannot get any action from either receiver.

Have confirmed that I am using a null cable. Still cannot get it to work. I believe I am doing something wrong, but have done a search here and on the web and I cannot find any different instructions than what auggie provided. Not sure when to release the buttons and what indications are that show it is working.
