    turn off Japan server and any other server you're not using

    It is a given to have public server or any other server for that matter turned off if they are not in use.

    They haven't made the box for a couple years and you'd think most would have them figured out by now with the exception of the odd used one that was purchased. Having said that with the jap(public) server and other servers not in use turned on makes little sense but does not necessarily cure connection problems. It may have cured the op's problem for now, but I am not agreeing with him that it is a cure all for connection problems. jmo

    I think, that limey users will find that sometimes you need the numbers for your IP, like 67.75 . just for example, and not the letters. I , think, nearly everyone, with a limey, would know to turn the japan off, but, good info.,, just in case someone doesn't know that.
