    Question Need Help X-FTA Gargoyle by Poroto40

    I have a Viewsat Ultra using an X-FTA running Gargoyle Firmware by Poroto40.
    The issue I have is running a server for Dish and Bev at the same time. In my case Bev is working fine while Dish is freezing.
    If I add one server at a time then all is well, as stated above when I add both dish freezes and becomes unstable bev works fine.

    here are my settings

    # Up to 8 CaID's can be remapped.
    #1841=1815
    #1802=1816
    1802:1816|1803:1816|

    # Serial port receiver is connected to.
    serial_port=/dev/tts/0

    # Set baud to 19200 for most Viewsat, XFactor and CNX receivers that used
    # a dongle.
    # Set baud to 115200 for most other receivers and Viewsats running SSSP
    # firmware.
    serial_speed=19200

    # Control word retrieval timeout in seconds.
    server_timeout=8

    # Number of attempts before connecting to a new server. Setting to '0' will
    # make the client try the next server after first failure.
    server_retries=0

    # Receiver protocol
    # 1 - Viewsat/X-Factor
    # 2 - CNX
    # 3 - SSSP Viewsat/SSSP Pansat/Coolsat
    # 4 - Captiveworks
    receiver_protocol=1

    # If set to 1, CaID reported by the receiver will be ignored and ECM will be
    # sent to server even if there is a CaID mismatch. If you are using a single
    # provider you should set this to 1.
    ignore_caid=0

    Please give some insight on the what I should change or the optimal settings the have worked for you while running a bev and dish server at the same time ?

    thank you.

    Items Wireless Access

    Default

    c/p from readme
    [caid.ini]

    If you need to use CaID remapping simply place a line for each CaID that needs to be remapped.

    Like so -

    1841=1815
    1802=1816
