    Default mpeg4

    Hay can some one tell me if the nano 2 is mpeg4 compatable ?

    I think that most receivers with a hdmi out on them r mpeg4. If your nano2 has one, or if it can receive from Ceil 2 at 129 degrees, then it is mpeg 4. Jmo

    HDMI has nothing to do with Mpeg4, HD boxes are Mpeg4, SD boxes are Mpeg2. The Nano2 is a SD box so it is Mpeg2

    You can do mpg4 HD on an DVB-S QPSK modulated carrier. The ABC on Virgin Island mux used to be that. mpg4 and mpg2 are compression and not modulation.

    really? never knew which one is that? dreamlink ?? I know it is not nano2 that was barely compatible Mpeg2

    Dreamlink T4 might be able to decompress mpeg4, but it can only do so if it's QPSK modulated.
