Just unzip the file in the computer, then copy the unzipped file onto usb stick, insert the usb stick into one of the usb ports of
nfhd, go to menu, storage, upgrade SW, select the file from usb and upgrade.

I am trying to update my NF HD to 27F as well but it just won't take. I used an USB drive as per instruction more than 10 times with no success. I then try using the serial (null modem) cable that came with the receiver with no success either. When I try to use the serial cable, the receiver simply says "Receive" then after a bit it goes to "E-to". I am using Loader 131 with the "main" option not "boot". Can anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Here are the info on my receiver.

    Boot version: 01.05
    S/W version: v1.3sR 25F
    UI Name: Pillar
    Area: America
    Date: Sep 15:29:03
    Flash Memory: EON EN29LV320T
    Tuner: TDQJ-P001F(E)
    TDVS-V183F

    Thanks in advance.

Can I assume the IP address I need to enter on the address bar of the browser is the address that's been assigned by my router? I entered that address and I'm getting problem loading page. I am using firefox. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks.

seems like a lot of trouble for not much benefit. Your receiver has the 25f file. what's wrong with that file?

Does anyone have an updated satellite list with the correct names? The preinstalled list is incorrect, and I'm unable to get anything at all. Terrestrial is ok. I am new to the nFusion HD receiver. Please help.
