    I'm pretty sure your receiver will not power up the lnb you will likely need one of 2 things # 1 a power inserter or # 2 a bell or dish ird.

    you could also swap out for legacy lnb's and use a switch.

    i have a viewsat max hd and the same lnb and mine works just fine. yes you use one cable to lnb.

    lnb type will be ocs-dp or dishpro
    diseq on and 91 assigned to port 1
    diseq on and 82 assigned to port 2

    DPP lnb draws less than 500mA. More if another lnb is connect to the input.

    There are several posts asking the same question. Right now I would get a Dreamlink or Jynxbox clone.
    As for the router I would upgrade it.
