Did you unplug the box for a bit with the antenna disconnected?

Your power supply probably has a bad cap or two in it. Open the cover and look at the power supply board.

Look at the capacitors. These units have cheap caps. Look for a bulging cap. If you find one, replace them all. Make sure you get the polarity right.

I didn't want you to think I was spending the money on myself. That's why I posted a reply explaining where the SatFix Bux went.

Here's a little token of my gratitude for your generous donation. Please accept it in the spirit that its meant...

Remove the cover of your box and look for as Sesame Street used to say... Which one of these things doesn't look like the other.
Seriously though, a bilged cap looks like a small battery affixed to the main board and is not uniform in length but looks fat hence the term "bulged".

If in doubt, take a picture of the board and post it. I am sure there is lot's of help available here.

Seriously speaking if you are unable to identify a bulging cap I would not recommend that you touch that receiver.
Please unplug it and take it to someone that is competent to do the necessary repairs.
