Default I can't find the satellite!

I have a single dish with the standard LNB set up at 12500, and hook my Viewsat 2000 Extreme to it and "Bam" there is the Echostar 110' the viewsat screen says echostar110'

Then I point to the 119'area and i get the RED signal strength to go up, but it stays red and the viewsat does not say what satellite i'm hitting, like when I hit the 110'
Same thing when I point to the 129' Red signal bar but no satellite description.

Is it that the Viewsat won't recognize the 119 and 129 with this receiver?

What receiver can I use to determine which satellite I'm pointing at? and am I hitting the 119 and 129 and not know it?

    thanks for the help

sorry about the confusing message, but I don't know how to explain this one.

What transponders are you setting when looking for 119 and 129? you should set it to 12457 for 119 and 12516 for 129.

What do you have set to 12500? The transponder frequency?? Or the LNB frequency??

If the transponder frequency then use the ones that Jazzman mentioned for 119 and 129.

If it's the LNB frequency then you should use 11250, unless you have a very nonstandard LNB.
