I've already paid for programming.... It's call commercials!
I remember in grade school in the 60"s the teacher told us " there is something called cable TV that will start appearing in a decade or so."
"You will watch TV and programming commercial free!"
That did happen for a short wile.....
I still remember when CNN had a limited or no commercials, if I remember correctly.
The premium channels never had a hint of sponsorship.
HEY, I bought the bar of dial soap...I have paid my fair share of TV programming!

Here comes the internet battle over Tv signals. The RCA in Canada is for encrypted signals and the DMCA is for circumventing the encryption so the push here is on Copyright. Hope this is a long batte.
Good luck on regulating the internet.
