Default Modifying OpenBox X5 LNB frequency's

OK, I now have a working "C" and "Ku" band setup, now here is a problem.

On the OpenBox X5 there are settings for the use of universal LNB's, I have a dual band LNB it will receive "C" band and "Ku" band by the use of an internal 22 KHz switch, 22 KHz on equals C band, 22 KHz off equals Ku band.

In the LNB frequency settings I see one for 9750/10600 and a few others in the "Ku" band, but nothing for what I need, (5150/10750) does anyone know if these settings are editable?

If not then I will have to edit the satellite names by adding a C or K to them and change a bunch of things.

I have s16 openbox and they are not editable. I just have many satellite named C and Ku. Never even thought to do it otherwise

Yah I looked over all the menu options and found nothing to what I wanted, it's not like my old CoolSat where I had the option of doing just what I wanted, too bad CoolSat didn't come up with a new receiver, one that could do the 8PSK DVB-S2 MPEG-4 HD channels.

My OpenBox has a great picture on the 105W NASA channels, I just waiting for the V box to arrive, it should be here today or Friday, once I have that hooked in I will be scanning in some new channels.

And maybe we will get lucky and they will have a code for the PowerView and Digicypher stuff.

Yes that works for two different satellites, (unless you found an option I didn't) but some have both bands on one bird, you can't set it to 10750/5150, with 22 KHz switching between the two, on the same bird.

I had to do it by setting the Ku band up as 10750 22 KHz on for Galaxy 19, then set everything for "C" band as Galaxy 19c to 5150 22 KHz off.

It would be nice if there was a setting for 10750/5150 and auto on the 22 KHz.

Yes but when you have C-Band & KU-Band on the same sat you need to add that sat and rename it, like 43.1w- C-Band then 43.1w-KU-Band, it's the only simple way to do it,JMO,LOL.

Yup, thats the way I had to do it.

But on my old CoolSat, there was a selection where I could set the LNB frequency as a pair like the universal setup, on the CoolSat it had a selection for 00000/00000, so I setup for G19 as 10750/05150 and 22 KHz to auto and it works fine.

Just griping that it cant be done that way on the X5.

Are jackalopes really happy in a balloon factory? I would think all that popping would be scary.
And if you did mess with the settings, you can't blame anyone else.

The Jackalopes around here are not afraid of much, they love popping balloons, and inflatable swimming pools, and those blow up thingy's you float on in the lake.

And the settings I used were on the CoolSat 5000, I wish they were on the X5 box.
