Default Screen shots and info on Prosat HD

Below are a couple of screen shots of some of the menus...also one of the known wifi antenna's working with mine...there are other's that work but this is the one I have working at present. Sorry about the picture quality...holding a camera steady is not one of my strong points.

Seems I may have a problem with the component connection on the flat tube...pictures above were kinda washed out so when I get a chance I'll post some better ones with the HDMI cable. Truth be known the flat screen had the problem right out of the box but just now discovered it by hooking up the component cables.

Default File loading procedure Prosat HD

Download file to be loaded onto your pc…unzip and extract file to a location of your choice….(example deasktop). Load that file on to your usb drive…probably would be best to format the usb drive prior to loading the file onto the drive…that way the drive is clean and only has the one file to be loaded.
With the Prosat HD turned on go to the main menu…open the door on the front right side of the stb and access the usb port and insert your usb stick…should see…media inserted popup which means the stb has recognized the usb stick. Navigate the main menu and sub menus with the right, left, up and down arrow keys on the remote.

    1. Main menu (Menu button on remote)
    2. Select Utilites…then press (OK)button on the remote
    3. Select Software Update
    4. Select update (Green button on remote)
    5. Select (highlight)your drive from the drop down list (Green button on the remote)
    6. Select (highlight)the file to be loaded from the drop down list
    7. Select update (Green button on the remote) the file should begin to load
    8. After the file loads follow the promps on the screen and the stb should reboot
    9. After reboot go into the main menu ...installation and select system information and you can check to make sure the file version is correct.

Seems leaving the stb on channel 239 while in standby mode keeps the epg nice and populated when you turn the stb back on.

Best and easiest way to set the weather option in the lower 48 is to just type in your zip code...if you choose to type in your location for the weather option make note on how the default is typed in...example: Dallas,TX,US. If you wish to go from Celsius to Fahrenheit just push the red (Unit) button while in the weather option. If you loose the weather info seems going into Menu/Settings/Other settings and in Power off-type choosing Deep standby mode will bring it back once you power off and back on...although this will basically clear the epg off...saves from unplugging the stb to reboot to get it back...of coarse rebooting by unplugging would clear the epg as well. Just make sure once you turn the stb back on you go back in and change from Deep standby to standby mode so the epg will populate. While in the Menu leaving it on Utilities and the weather option highlighted when you exit will keep it on that option when you go back in...saves navigating the menus.

On scanning in seems to be fairly fast...below are my results from my last scan...scan was done with network scan disabled:
    129-548TV= 6 min.
    119-594TV-142R= 6 min.
    110-648TV=6 min.

So far I've not seen any issues with the picture and audio getting out of sync but I'll keep checking.

Noticed that is will show as disconnected when connected in the server list as well...no epg with DM which would be a plus as well...maybe they will address some issues with later updates.

I would if I could but mine did not come with the android kit...been looking and waiting for someone to get some in but haven't seen or heard anything so far. If I do get one sometime soon I'll try and post.
