Linkbox 9000i/9000i Local Network set up


First choose how you want to connect to the internet with your receiver

-wirelessy
-Hard lined with ethernet (cat5/6 cable)


Hard lining
-With receiver powered down connect the ethernet cable to the receiver and the router
-Power up the receiver
-Select Menu>Tools>Network Setting>
-Highlight Net choose and arrow right/Left to Ethernet
-Arrow down and highlight settings and press OK

If you want the router to assign the network address to the receiver select DHCP "ON". If you want to select the
address yourself select "Off"

For DHCP on scroll down and down and select "apply" and the router will assign an address to the receiver

For OFF (STATIC) Input the info you want and select "apply"

You should then get a message pop up that says "DHCP Success"

You are now connected to the internet


WIFI Set UP
-With the receiver powered down insert your wifi antenna into the front or rear USB slot
-Power up receiver and select Menu>Tools>Network setting
-Highlight Net Choose and arrow right/left to WIFI
-Arrow down to settings and select OK on the controller
-You should now see a list of available WIFI connections to connect to
-Highlight your wifi connection and press OK
-Enter your WIFI password and select "connect"

You should now see 2 pop up meesages "AP WIFI Connected" then The WIFI address assigned will flash

You are now connected to the internet


Adding a server to your receiver
-Press Menu and arrow right/left to Tools (Do not select anything just highlight)
-On the controller press the numbers 8282 and you should receive a pop up message "Hidden menu available"
-Press ok on the controller to enter tools and scroll down to "Network Server"
-Input your server settings
-scroll down to the connect line and press ok
-If successful below the connect line you will get a message "server log in ok"

If you loose connection on a server
-Press F2 on the bottom of the controller
-Enter your password (Default password is 0000)
-Scroll down to connect and press OK and you should get the message "server log in ok"

You are now connected to the internet and can use applications or a server!
